  The location is good, the breakfast is good, the facilities are older. The rooms are clean but some of the furnishings are dated. The motel was fully booked and parking was full around our building.

  The people who worked at the Marina West Motel were all quite friendly but I found a lack of attentiveness to our questions and concerns. I understand they are trying to keep the vibe light and chill but continuing to talk on the phone to someone they obviously frequent talking to while a costumer staying in your motel is standing at the desk with a question is unprofessional. The room was quaint and what you'd expect from a typical average motel but our toilet wouldn't flush and the light on the right side of the bed wouldn't work properly. It took the better part of the day to get the repair guy to come in and take a look at the toilet and 3 different trips to actually fix it. Nonetheless it was overall a pleasant stay for the price we paid.

  Positives: - Location is good and relatively convenient to all the amenities in town. - Nice balcony and some rooms have decent views. - Comes with continental breakfast Negatives: - Totally overpriced - Rooms are dated and wifi was next to useless. - No A/C; but we went on an unseasonable hot weekend. - Noisy area with a bar close by that attracts loud and vulgar clientelle late at night. Some of whom were staying above our suite and decided that they were the only people staying at the motel so it would be ok to jump on the floor and karaoke at 3:00 in the morning. My advice, go find an AirBNB; you'll be getting a much better deal and better sleep.

  Good food and service at The Hatch restaurant, but the music was an inane mix of over-sugared pop silliness. We quickly ate and fled from the dreadful soundtrack.
