  We went there because of the high reviews. The restaurant is very small. What makes it much worse, the waitress there is very rude and scary. We finally chose to leave before ordering. So no comments on food. We, instead, went to Tough City Sushi. The food from Tough City Sushi is authentic and fresh, view is so beautiful, and the service is very good. We are very happy with our choice at Tough City Sushi. If you don't want rude service and angry people ruin your happy and peaceful mood, the very reason why we visit Tofino, do not visit this place (Kuma Tofino). There are plenty of great restaurants in town. Other restaurants we visited in Tofino, like Sobo, and Wolf in the frog have wonderful and delightful people who are very warm and respectful, which made our trip very memorable.

  Insanely amazing absolute BEST DAMN JAPANESE COMFORT FOOD EVER. Why have I never heard of this concept before?? We go to Tofino all the time. Never stopped here until now and fully regretting. Chicken Karaage is the most amazing thing I've ever had. The edamame beans they list as spicy but aren't that bad at all, too easy to eat. Very well priced for what you get, great service!

  I've gone there a couple times now as resident of the Tofino area and its always a definite go to if your in the mood to eat out. Great local dishes, the salmon on rice is one of our favourites! I love the name too, use to be our dogs name (it means bear if you didn't know)

  Great rolls! Superb view of the water. Even the IPA was crisp and very enjoyable. A great take on Japanese cuisine. Worth a try.
